Mahendra Agri Genetics Pvt. Ltd. is an ISO 9001:2015 certified company with a DSIR Recognized In-House R&D Unit (Department of Scientific and Industrial Research, Ministry of Science & Technology, Government of India). The journey began in 1990, when founder Mahender Reddy, a science graduate, initiated seed production and basic research work in Warangal District, Telangana, focusing on field crops and learning directly from farmers and field conditions.

Over the years, the company established dedicated research farms and structured breeding programs, gaining prestigious recognition from DSIR (Govt. of India) as well as reputed agricultural institutions such as RARS, VRS, Dr. YSR Horticultural University and APSSCA. These recognitions strengthened the company’s research capabilities and enabled expansion into cutting-edge breeding and scientific innovation.

Officially incorporated in 2015, Mahendra Agri Genetics invested in advanced breeding techniques, coordinated field trials, and upgraded research infrastructure. While remaining rooted in field crops, the company expanded into vegetable seeds with a strong focus on yield stability, adaptability, and consistent performance across diverse agro-climatic conditions.

Today, Mahendra Seeds continues to be a DSIR recognized research-driven company, combining scientific expertise with practical agronomy to deliver reliable, high-performing seed solutions that help farmers achieve better productivity and sustainable growth.
